METADYNAMIC / DIGITAL TWIN APPS

Digital twin apps. See the context. Test the change.

Bring assets, operational data and models into one purposeful view. MetaDynamic develops digital twin applications around the question your team needs to answer—not just a 3D visual.

WHAT YOUR APP CAN DO

Capabilities built around the workflow.

Select the capabilities that solve a defined business problem. Platform, configuration and integration choices are agreed during discovery.

Asset & process models

Represent equipment, locations and their relationships at the level of detail the decision requires.

Connected operational context

Associate events and measurements with the right asset, time and operating conditions.

Scenario comparison

Compare defined changes using an appropriate model, with assumptions and limitations visible.

2D & 3D visualisation

Choose a practical visual interface for navigation, status and context; use 3D where it improves the task.

Maintenance & planning views

Combine asset history and selected indicators to support engineering and planning conversations.

Model lifecycle controls

Track model versions, validation, ownership and changes so users understand what a scenario represents.

A PRACTICAL APPLICATION

Compare a production change before committing resources.

A team wants to evaluate a revised flow, buffer or asset arrangement. We define the question, gather the required data and build a model at an agreed level of fidelity. Users compare scenarios and review constraints with the operational team. Simulation informs a decision; it does not remove uncertainty or replace engineering judgement.

CONNECTED TO YOUR ENTERPRISE

Integration designed around your existing systems.

Plan the application around the systems of record you already use. Assess SAP, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday or a custom ERP against the actual interface and permission requirements.

Use supported connectors or APIs where available. Define ownership, mapping, retries, error handling and reconciliation so an integration remains supportable. Connector availability, licences and system versions affect the scope.

Native mobile, offline, voice and specialist-device experiences are scoped when the workflow requires them.

READINESS CHECK

Build the foundations first.

  • A defined decisionSpecify what the model must help people understand or compare.
  • A trustworthy modelAgree assumptions, required fidelity and validation against observed behaviour.
  • A managed lifecycleAssign ownership for source data, model updates and scenario approval.

DELIVERY & ADOPTION

From a useful idea to a supported application.

Discover

Map users, decisions, source data and success measures.

Design

Define the experience, architecture, access and integration contracts.

Build & validate

Deliver in increments and test representative workflows with users.

Launch & improve

Prepare training, monitoring, support and a prioritised improvement backlog.

Measure the outcome: Model coverage · Scenario turnaround · Validation error · Decision adoption. Agree the baseline and target before delivery; results depend on scope and adoption.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUILD

Your digital twin apps questions, answered.

Is a 3D model the same as a digital twin?

No. A 3D model can be one visual component. A useful digital twin also needs defined relationships to the physical process, relevant data, model behaviour and a managed update and validation approach.

Do digital twins need live sensor data?

The required update rate depends on the decision. Some applications use selected near-real-time signals; planning scenarios may use periodic or historical data. We define the appropriate cadence during discovery.

Can a digital twin predict every operational outcome?

No. Predictions depend on the model, source data and assumptions. We agree validation criteria and present limitations so users can judge the results appropriately.
